I know the diffrence between Downhill and jumping and stuff like that but what is the diffrence between Rec riding and trail riding and XC riding

I honestly have never been able to keep up with all the differing styles of "mountain biking" there are. After a while, the terms cease to have any real meaning, like the vast array of different types of "Techno" music.

I ride xc because I am free to ride downhills, trails, hit some jumps, you know, the stuff all mountains have to offer.
