Road Cycling - trek carbon

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
This may be an old topic and I am fairly new to this forum. I am considering replacing my hybrid with a road bike. I hope to gain 3-4 miles per hour, which means greater distance. I really liked the Trek 5200 I test rode. The dealer also has a Trek Y-Foil in my size. Do any of the forum participants have info that would help me compare these frames? Thanks for any input.

Yeah, follow your heart. The 5200 will give you a more simple ride with the Y being more showy. If you want something "cool" go with the Y. If you are looking for simplicity and practicality go with the 5200.
