Does anyone make a computer wheel magnet for bladed spokes? If not how do you get around the problem? Will a normal magnet register wheel movement if placed on the bladed spoke facing forward. i.e., the slot facing to the rear and the magnet facing forward instead of toward the fork. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. :(

I have mavic ksyrium wheels, I just pug the magnet near the hub where the spokes are quite as wide. Another option, there is magnets specificaly designed for bladed spokes.

I know excel sports sells one for spinergy wheels, that should work on most others.

And one for mavic ksyrium wheels which would also work.

Kev, thanks. I knew someone must have come up with a solution. I'll give excel a call. Thanks again.

hehe or you could grind down a part of your spoke and make the regular one work..

I just wrapped my spoke in a little scotch tape to make it round. Then I just clicked the magent around the taped spot and you can't even see the tape under it.

Yeah. The nerve. And that probably explains why I was getting the speed wobbles on some steep downhills.

I'll admit, it felt strange to be using tape to rig up something on a Colnago. I wondered if I would rot in hell for it.

Thanks, folks. Easyrider, you have probably angered the Colnago Gods and will surely be punished.
