Isn't that like your 100th stinky? I think you have an addiction, Dirtbikedude.

I keep telling my friends "I can't wait till I get a stinky" but I never get the response I'm looking for for some reason...

In no way do I have an addiction. I could stop buying parts and frames any time I want:D

Actually, I cracked my other one and Kona sent me this one to replace it. Very cool of them. I cracked a 2000 model standard Stinky and got a 2003 Stinky Primo in its place. Just one other reason they are my favorite company.

I did have to pay a few bucks for the new Fox shock though. It set me back $150 but the way I see it, 150 bucks for a new rig is a sweeeeet deal.
Also, all the parts on it are brand new since I recently upgraded the other one just before it cracked.

Yep... one of the best ways to get frame upgrades... Last fall, my friend cracked the BB of his 2000 Sugar 2 and Fisher sent him a new 2003 frame (in bling-bling gold) with the carbon stays. Just remember to have a backup bike because warranty claims take a while depending on the bike company. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take Kona to get you a new frame?

9 days. That includes sending the frame to Kona, having them look at it and then sending a new one. It only took so long because of the shiping time.

9 days? Who do you know at Kona?????

My last warranty frame took about 6 months and they still didn't get it right!

Good conections. Lets just say I have made a few acquaintances on our local trails and the fact that my LBS is one of the biggest Kona dealers in CA helps too. The Kona rep. out here is way cool and the fact that I am a Kona fanatic is a plus also:D .
