And hopefully my last ! Yea yea, i know.......but i'm tellin ya, i'm gonna slow down. At 49 I'm too old for this.:D

I had just made it to the ridge and was riding along the ridge towards another downhill fireroad that drops me down to about a mile from home. Nice ride. But as i came around this blind turn i wasn't paying attention like i should have been and found myself heading into a dip with ruts and sand at the bottom. I hit it going i believe about 13-15 MPH. Front end folded and i went right over the bars as my abdomen slammed hard on the ground. Felt like i slammed my internals real hard, and at first it was rather painful. A few good strawberries and bruises, but nothing that didn't feel fine after about 10 minutes. Funny thing is, even tho i was in pain and uncertain if i did any serious damage to myself, the 1st thing i did when i got up was to inspect my bike for damage. :D

Luckily both my bike and my body came out without and real damage. The Hayes lever on the right side got a little bruised and that was it. I was amazed !

Anyway, i gotta lose that panaracer XC on the front fast !!! I think i'll put the stock roll X back on the front till i figure out what to get, as it was way more stable feeling.

You had your first endo the same time you had 250 posts? I was eating red arizona dirt long before I ever posted! And I don't mean out of habbit!

Last year some friends and myself went up to Snoqualmie Pass for some downhill fun. It was the first day of the season for them. Alot of our favorite trails were still snow covered so we made our own trails. We just went blasting down one of the ski runs. No actual trails to follow. Went over the bars 5-6 times each before we got down to the lift. Little sore, but it was fun.

 You'll never hear me say that.....for one thing i wouldn't be around to say it if i did 5 endos in a single ride.

Whenever I endo I ALWAYS land on my shoulder. I really have to loosen my grip on the handlebar.

Congrats on the first endo. Enjoy many many more and don't hold on too tight. It reduces injuries :)

Pretty soon you'll be able to just unclip, push the bars between your legs and walk out of it.
