Uh, well, which price? How much are you willing/wanting to spend?
Your best bang for buck, at least buying new are some of the Shimano LX outboard bearing setups. Easily found for ~ $100 USD or less. No idea what would be easiest/cheapest/best to get in your part of the world.
FSA, Truvativ, Race Face also all make good stuff, from low end basic setups to high end spendy racing kit.

Best cranks I ever used were 2003 Octlink Xt's. Very reliable and BB was flawless. Ended up stripping the arms from faulty installation.

How important is weight to you? Also what price are you looking at? To me the best cranks for the money are in the $300 - $600 range. For you it may be in the $100 - $200 range. We need to know that.
For me the best racing crankset is the american classis isis bb, discontinued FSA Carbon Pro Team Issue carbon crankset with Extralite rings. For just riding around cross country where weight is not important the Shimano XT is hard to beat.
