Western Canada - The best LBS I have come across in Vancouver

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I bought my bike and my girlfriend's bike at the Bike Doctor on Broadway, and I've been really pleased with their knowledge and the quality of the builds. When I rode downhill/freeride, I really liked the North Shore Bike Shop in North Vancouver. Matt went out of his way to service parts for me that he didn't sell or stock, and gave a ton of free advice along the way. Heath at Cranky's Bikes out in Aldergrove was great, even once letting me borrow tools to work on my own bike at home, but I haven't been out that way in a few years. I've appreciated the advice and work of Mike at Krusty's in Richmond too. That said, sometimes I just go to the shop closest to where I've broken down :)
i'm going to add to my list:
- CheapSkates - BEST palce to find a dust covered Campy equiped road bike or obscure parts
- La Biciclettea - BEST road/track shop in BC. Custom wheel building.
- Mighty Riders! best singlespeed shop in town
Not even the best in Vancouver.
It may come as a surprise to know that there is quite a bit of BC outside of VAncouver.
And some very good shops.
