so i have this new iro with a carbon fork, and as i was riding to taco bell, i noticed that the front wheel starts to turn on it's own. it feels like the front fork is a bit big or something. so i started riding handless to see if the steer would turn and it didn't. it's hard to explain, i took it the bike shop and they looked at me like i was crazy. i've never had a problem with other bikes i've ridden. does anyone know what the hell i'm talking about. i tried searching but nothing is coming up.

Hmm... I've noticed such things when I've rebuilt my headset after getting used to riding with a really stiff headset - it feels like the wheel is cutting to the side, but your body gets used to it after a few days and it's business as usual.

yes exactly. i 'm glad u were able to read past my post. ok, yea, it doesn't seem like its a life or death situation, but the cutting to one side is a bit weird. thanks

I'm assuming this is a threadless fork/headset.
2 questions:
1. Did you install the fork yourself?
2. Do you have a front brake?

I had a similar situation after the last time I changed my stem. I then noticed if I held the front brake closed, I could feel a slight clunk when I slightly rocked the bike back and forth.
It took me a while to figure out the cause. I had installed the stem and tightened it down too much before I set the preload with the top cap.
To fix it, I loosened the stem, set the preload with the top cap, retightened the stem and everything was good.
