I have a couple of questions regarding a set of Victory cranks that I want to use temporarily on a project bike which has Italian threaded BB. I am currently searching for C Record cranks to complete the group.
1. Would the overall spindle length vary whether the frame was Italian or English. I know the BB shell is 70 and 68 for each but what about the overall spindle length.
2. Is the C Record BB I have on the way an OK match for the Victory cranks? It's marked 70-SPc and I thinks it 111mm overall. I believe the SPc means it was for road and track.
Thanks.

C-Record is symmetrical 111mm road double, Victory is 113mm I believe, and may be offset on the drive side. In any event, it'll be very close and will probably work fine. Croce d'Aune BB is identical spec to the C-record as was the last version, Croce identical, 94 Chorus. I'd bet that the 94 Athena would be a perfect fit as well.
