Southern California - Sometimes when you're having a bad day...

someone does something to put a smile on your face and lift your spirits. I have to call out our honorary southern Californian here because BigSean did just that...he sent me a pie to make me happy. It worked. :D The perfect post-ride meal....chocolate satin pie.

Byrd MS. We get half days when we test in the Spring, looking forward to that. For now, I'm trying to get a bunch of wild teens ready to perform a Winter Concert. West Hills, huh? Trying to think, Chaminade? St. Mel's? My wife suggests getting a job at a private school where the students are better behaved and buy their own instruments (although I have managed to get my students to treat the school ones much better than my first year of teaching). Seems hard to find openings, though, plus public school allows me to clear my credential and get experience.

Good guesses....Chaminade it is. I'm at the high school, managing the computer network. Been there 4-1/2 years and love it. Most supportive place I've ever worked. I won't make a fortune there (hey, it's a private school) but it's steady and fun. You can always check our website for positions if you are thinking of changing.
