so lastnight i was walking my bike off a curb by holding the seat...once the front went off of the curb the handlebars/wheel flipped around causing me to step off the curb in a weird way. that weird way involved me rolling/spraining the sh*t out of ankle and i can't even walk today. oh yeah, my lock also swung up as i fell and busted my lip.

This is so true. I actually pay much more then $15/hr too. I only ask that you allow me to sit in a lawnchair outside and watch you mow without your shirt on.

The guy putting it on, in a phone conversation, disclosed a disclaimer that said, "It might not be that great."

There hasn't been any planning really for it with the exception of that flyer on the internet. Not a lot of local info either.

i seriously wish someobody would've caught it on tape because it was one of the stupidest things that has ever happened to me. if i had been drunk, i would atleast have an excuse but i was buzzed at best.

does anybody have a cross or bmx lever and a short cable laying around? or, for that matter, a shortish quill stem? my project is actually coming together, I'm trying to prep up anything I can. I am going to try out the radical idea of having 2 handlebar setups, and it would probably be easier to switch out the whole thing, bars and stem, instead of unwrapping bars.

on another note, yesterday was mixed. I got my wheels and other various parts, so I now have a complete bike in parts. I also sold my old car, that I had for 12 years. Kind of sad :( especially because it's barely financing my bike. Oh, well.

I swear this thing better be done by memorial day.

Man I wish I was there.well you wernt It was a great race the most fun Ive had since the last one and despite the turn out which i feel was more about social issues than cycling schedules and transportation but it is what it is how ever people police there own seen in there city is there problem i hope in st pete we can start setting an example and not flakeing out on races and rides (with in reason) lets keep it about cycling and fun there's a lot of effort going into this next race with the exception of Tod people in this area need to start acting a little more interested in this race its only a month from now and we still need volunteers for the checkpoints and registration and some one to do the scavenger hunt part of the race that isn't going to race so i myself can take part in the race get at me and PS my thigh are on strike they hurt so bad that i can barely walk with out it looking like some one pierced me in the a!!!s thanx tally it was fun;)

i think we're riding clearwater this weds. we generally meet up at 6-6:30 anyday we meet up.

sorry the race wasn't better attended/organized. it was tim's first race, and the first race we've had in quite a while that didn't have at least fifty people. he didn't put any work into organizing, and didn't make any flyers. come back up for talloween 3. that **** is gonna be awesome.
