I don't know about anyone else, but I'm having a hard time getting some riding in, what with my real life and all taking up so much time. Plus, I banged my rear wheel out of true when I ate it trying to learn left footed skids. there is literally so much racing going on around the state that I can't keep up.

Also, it's been a little warm lately.

I may be able to make it out on saturday, but I can't pull the 2 am business that you all have been. I'm old. And married. but mostly old.

Off to CA (SF and SD) tomorrow morning. Hopefully getting back to regular riding when I get back in a week.

As much riding as I can do a day is up to the coffee shop from my house... which is like half a mile. By the time I get there... I am drenched in sweat. **** this heat.

I'll be out in St. Pete on Sat. though. Hopefully i'll meet you Dijos. Sorry I didn't call you back last night Corey... I was sleeping, and sorta heard the phone... but wasn't really awake.

I also have a piece of food lodged in the back of my throat that I can't get out. It totally sucks.

Edit: Oh yea. My 1983 Bianchi Eco Pista is officially for sale locally as well. It is 56cm square and totally badass. Everything but wheels and pedals, $700 flat. If you want some gold Mavic OR10 rims (sew-ups) laced to Gipiemme Special Pista hubs w/ DT spokes and nipples, hand built and totally NOS, with the bike... asking for $1100. If no one buys it locally, i'll ship it somewhere, but I really don't want to deal with shipping. Thanks!

Check out the cue sheet. Last years ride didn't include Gandy Blvd. It was all side streets running parallel to it.

Give me a call tonight or tomorrow. I think I'm just going to crash in Tampa the night before.

Just because I got a folding bike doesn't make recumbants cool. I did have a prof in college who made those electronic versions though. He was a kinda strange.

the tour de guava sounds cool, but shouldn't it start in ybor... with alcohol instead of helmets? maybe at night? that would make it fun.

they even have a bicycle inspection and make you pay 25 dollars for no support. i'll go since there seems to be some like minded individuals down for a long hard end of july hot florida ride with a 50% chance of rain at least.

Also, why do they call it a double century...it is only 1.25 hundred miles.
