On another note, my buddy had been sending me pics all last week from Interbike. Lots of new stuff that looks amazing (and even more stuff that looks terrible).

Anyway, the Hilly Hundred is coming up on October 21st. I'm riding it fixed because I have to prove a point. I'm not yet sure what that point is, but it will be proven nonetheless.

That thing was a challenge for sure. Especially considering I did it on the single speed. It took forever to finish, but I never gave up and I never walked my bike. I felt really good about doing that ride afterwards and I highly suggest everyone consider doing it this year. Some of the people that I met and rode with that day were amazing individuals. If I have a bike built up in time, I'll be there.

A case(+) of beer a night, and a 70 mile round trip ride to work (67 miles by car, 3 by bicycle) every day seems to do the trick for me. While not wholly proven, falling down a lot seems to boost my stamina.
