"For months, officials of Swiss Cycling and Swiss Olympic have conducted a press campaign against me with the contradictory statements," wrote Ullrich. "I have no more trust in them. This withdrawal does not mean that I am ending my career -- I have contacted other cycling federations concerning a license for 2007."

I would love to see Levi, Ullrich, Basso, Floyd all on the same team. Well they might kill each other over who would lead the TdF - but man that would be one hell of a team. How much money do these big guys make?
I was going to make a bratwurst joke, but it's too early in the morning and I can't think of anything.

I don't think a team could afford that kind of firepower, but more importantly, there would be little difference between them. None of them are going to win a sprint stage. They are not necessarily classics guys. What would you do, pick two team "attackers" for each grand tour and have them pound the peloton into submission on every stage? Have them bet against each other for TT times (Levi loses again...looks like he is doing the dishes...again). Sorry, just rambling...its still early for me!!

Don't be silly. A situation like this is why "Rock, Paper, Scissors" was invented. Discovery Channel or Versus would be able to televise the Tour Leader selection match as well. :p

Speaking of that, it reminds me of a rather humorous away message my buddy currently has up on AIM:
"I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no friggen way Paper can beat Rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? Why the hell cant paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear that **** up in 2 seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, oh ****, I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you, you *******."

Geez....with a line up like that the team bus would be carrying enough blood and pharmaceuticals to equip a small hospital!!
OK the Paper story was really funny! The bus being an hospital was funny too.....
Thanks for shearing.
Ciao
