Last night was my first experience with cross. We have a local group that runs a training race every wednesday night and I was finally able to attend and did I have a blast! I've known how to do a cyclo cross dismount for years now, but I've never really figured out the remount, but last night I was able to do it perfect (no hop!!). I managed to surprise a few of our local cross racers by doing that. :D

I'm on my way to being hooked on this. My first race will be coming up in a couple of weeks, wish me luck!

Welcome to cyclocross. I never had a problem dismounting but I still have trouble mounting so good on ya.

congrats man. I'm trying to get someone to go to a race with me saturday. If I like what I see I might try to compete in a race in december.

If you are talking about going to Hendersonville on Sat. I would highly reccommend it. Its a UCI C2 race and the course will be outstanding. The NC Winter cup is a great series too.
