Any suggestions for light, durable shirts for cycling in chilly & windy wetather? I usually don't ride much in crap weather but I'd like to continue my regular workout / commute to work this winter.

I like a baselayer and wool jersey combo for my upper body. If it is really cold I wear tights under my pants and get out the balaclava. Long fingered, windstopper gloves on the hands.

Temperature regulation is the name of the game, so zippers are nice.

I usually layer-up some cool-max or similar shirts from TJ-MAX or Marshalls. Only way I can afford "performance" clothing.

I bought a Marmot Dri-Clime wind jacket at scheels on clearence for $29.99. It wear it every day commuting too and from school and in the mornings its alwaays like 29* and misting. It's the best investment I've made in a while.
