There is a race tomorrow at 9pm. Starts at the SW corner of Mill and 5th in Tempe. $5 entry, bring extra to buy ****. I don't know if you should dress up or not. I probably will, so you won't be alone.

I'll be pedaling all over Tempe tomorrow, ferrying people to and from the football game: look for me on blue cab #32. Anyway, that's the reason I'll be missing this race.

That's right, brah, and if I'm going to be able to pedal for twelve or fifteen hours tomorrow, the last thing I need to do is get drunk and ride at race pace around campus. Have fun.
