Any Zeus authorities out there? I'd like to know what the heirarchy was on their line of parts. Thanks.

I think it went Gran Sport, Criterium, and then 2000; at least from the mid '70s to early '80s. From the early '80s on, there was also "New Racer", which was like a budget 2000, and a little more aero looking. For me, the early 2000 is the most droolworthy. The early 2000 cranks ('76-ish) were the ones milled completely through, and they used the Criterium style rings, but with the Swiss-cheese holes. The later cranks were milled down to two levels, I think, but not completely through, and then later still (78-79) used a newer style chainring, though still plenty holey. Also, only the early 2000 used the Ti pedal spindles and and Ti hub axles. Later (after 'bout '77, I think), instead of Ti, they used an alloy named "titanox", which was probably stronger, but not as light weight. Mmmm.... Zeus 2000... Still my favorite group of all time...!
