I don't ride BMX so I may be asking a daft question... Why are all the saddles pointing upwards?? Isn't BMX dangerous enough so you have to crush your nuts too?

Basically so you dont rub your theighs when you do manuals, and it's comfier when you sit on it, more laid back because the bike is short. Your pals are never in danger because of it.

Beutiful, A little small for me though, I ride a 20.1.

And that color is deffinatly going on my list of options when it comes to powdercoat my frame, i'm not a fan of dark bikes.

yeah, i tend to ride smaller frames because i'm more of a tech rider and i used to ride a lot of flatland, so i need more of a dual purpose bike.

and that color is definitely beautiful. thanks.

I also noticed your running a lower gear ratio, looks to be a 28-13 or 28-12. I guess thats because your also a techy rider to eh?

I also want your front rim, I love Araya rims but I cant find any in town.

haha, yeah you got my gears right on, 28-12.
that front wheel is seriously four, going on five years old...it's the ****.

Haha. No, I meant to look at old kid's bikes and recycle the housing. I wasn't making fun of BMX.

Check out a LBS. I know some places carry derailleur cable with colored housing. Just buy a break line, cut the housing to the appropriate length and make a swap.

I think I have some light gray housing sitting around somewhere at the shop. If I can find it, I'll give it to you for free. I may only have short pieces though. How much do you need?

TourDeHood

Ummm. 10 Feet? Not entirely certain.

Is there a way to determine/guesstimate how much I will need? Thanks a lot for the offer though....

First off, what all are you hooking up? Just brakes i assume? Front only?

If its front only... like... less than 2 feet.

TourDeHood

Okay, then I am waay off. All I need is for front and rear brakes.

I don't know if it's light enough, but Shimano has the XTR cable kit in grey. High quality cable and housing for $20-25.

Derailer and brake housing are different things. You can use either for brakes, but modern derailers have to have derailer housing.

V-O has some interesting options:

http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/components/shifting-freewheels-cassettes/cables.html

http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/components/brakes/pads-parts.html

I like the metallic braided stuff in particular.

I use Jagwire in "Ice Grey" in bulk for all my bikes, that way it looks like I have Dura-Ace/XTR without having to buy the $$$ Shimano kit.

Right. Seems logical haha. I only thought 10 feet because someone who I thought knew better than I said that I would want some slack...so much for not using common sense.
