... a message board full of people who know how to use {QRs]
Sounds about just right as a parodistic self-description of the bicycling "advoocates" posting on this thread. And a message board full of so-called advocates without a clue about bicyclists other than themselves and their club buddies.

Sheesh, anyone that does not agree with you is wrong, right? Oh well, enjoy your crusade, I for one no longer will feed the fire this thread has become. Have fun bumping it up on your lonesome;),,,,BD

Just curious though, what club am I in, besides the "I own too damned many bikes club" Only one of which weighs less than 30 pounds. One of the heaviest came with QR's on both wheels, and work like new at 36 years old.(71 Schwinn Continental)

EDIT (((((BTW, I went to several Xmarts yesterday buying fill in work clothes for a new job. The only bikes that had QR's were Schwinn amd Mongoose, both owned by Pacific/Dorel. And just as I thought, one of them had a bent QR lever. Because as I guessed, they're crap masquerading as good equipment.)))))
