I'm thinking of exchaning my current Rockhopper Comp (06) for a 2007 STP when it comes out... I don't like the geometry and size of the Rockhopper for what lately is all I've been doing (Street/Trials/Dirtjump) MSRP is 850 so i don't think I'll have to put too much money down on top of the Rockhopper but what do you think? I'll probably get a size 15 and I like the specs, 15.75 chainstays, 2.4 tires, good wheelset, SRAM derailleur and boxguide, 100mm suspension and BB5s (which work great on my RH). I have rode some 2005 STPs and I liked them but I'm not sure if they really what I want, I will also do some XC/All-Mountain with it but rarely and just for fun, is the STP the right bike for me or what else can you recommend I try? (maybe Specialized P.?) I want to hear from STP owners as well.
