First, I want to thank everyone who contributed to my past threads. All of your advice has been constructive and considered. I am all set to get a stumpjumper hardtail when my dealer shows me a Yeti FRO. Sweet bike. Cost is not a concern here as I figure I am already spending this much...

Anyway, I know very little about Yeti but that I have always liked them. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the FRO? Maybe it is my attitude to be different but I am leaning towards the Yeti even though I think the stumpjumper would be a great bike for me as well. Also, does Yeti give lifetime warranty on the frame? Can't find it on their site. Thanks for all your help.

I know some would suggest to get which ever feels better. Unfortunately, I am unable to ride either one because both have to be ordered (such is life in a small town) . Also any reassurances that I am making the right decision to get a hardtail are greatly appreciated? :)

In reference to hardtails it doesn't get any better than a Yeti, no matter what material or brand. Yeti makes the best hardtails hands down

Ouch, that hurt as much as my tetanus shot from yesterday. Is there any facts that yeti are the best or did some hard-core yeti guy tell you that? Is it the "top of the line" easton tubing, "proven race geometry", or the "Yeti trademark looptail stays" that makes them the best? Or is it simply because they are made in the USA? Alot of times I go with what I hear because I dont know anything, but in this case lets argue and see who can prove it.

To be honest I have never heard that either..."making the best ht's handsdown" is quite a claim and one that I don't really agree with. Best xc ht...maybe...but best ht's...hmmmm

Dam, didn't mean to make it hurt that bad. Tetanus shots are a b*tch. But i'll be upfront and honest i just have a real thing for Yeti hardtails. They've been made the same way since 95' or someting like that and are handbuilt in Co. Other than that i just know that if i were going to get a hardtail i'd get a Yeti and there's all there is to my logic, but thats just my thing i guess........................................................

Thats fine, we all have our companies. I thought the tetanus shot was going to be alot worse than it was, I had no pain at all when given the shot and after. It does hurt a little now when I stretch my arm way out.
