I am new here so please excuse me if my question has already been asked 1 million times. I already checked the search engine but I didn't get the specific information that I need, so I am risking this question!
What do you think the worst and cheapest and generally bad quality BMX brand is? And which is the best? I need this for a story that I'm writing in which one character has a really bad second-hand bike (but she thinks it's the greatest) and another character has this great bike that is really expensive and has a whole bunch of accessories. Thank you so much for your help!

Worst: Poverty
Best: Sunday, Fit, Animal, Tree, etc.
Odyssey is included in the etc.
There are a lot of good brands.
My personal favorites:
Solid, Odyssey, S&M, T1 and Tree.
My least favorite is Poverty and most companys that just make the same stuff everyone else is making, instead of coming up with new ideas.
Favorite: Shadow, Tree, Odyssey, Sunday!, and The Take. If the take had a frame in my size, I would do anything to get it.
I always wanted a Take frame... until I saw Sunday!
I've actually been looking for ways I could replace the Macneil with a One True Ave frame, but I need another job or a cheaper truck :(.

Bloody small, I could probably go up to 20.25, wich is what I was going to try, or even go down to 19.75.

I can't use a 20" toptube. The smallest toptube I can use is my friend 20.2". I prefer to have a lot of room and use the 20.5"

Yes, I do actually notice the difference. I've tried a 20.2 and 20.5 and noticed the difference. I can't use a 20 though... that's way too small.

GT and Mongoose must have improved quite a bit lately. Here in America they were Wal Mart bikes(aka junk). Maybe Pacific is finally building decent bikes that don't weigh 40 pounds(18k)? Yeah right, lol.,,,,BD
