I have a set of these levers but I can't figure out which model they are.

I have looked through all of the 80's and early 90's catalogs that I have seen with no luck identifying them.

Thanks.

They look like C-record era to me possibly CdA... I think they had the quick release becaue the delta brakes didn't have one.

The cable feeds into a hole in the front so that pretty much rules out anything from the 80's I think. After some more research they seem to be Record levers from 1992 or 1993. The only difference from the catalog seems to be the hood color. Does anyone know if they offered a choice of white or black hoods in the early 90's?

Thanks cyclotoine for your input.

Lets see. 1991, Record levers had white hoods, delta's with black accordions, and an oval hole down low for adjusting the cable (pentadrive). 1993 has black hoods, black accordion deltas, with a higher circular hole, like yours. Don't have a 92 catalog to check. Maybe 1992 saw the new style lever blade with white hoods? There is no question that the white hoods would still have been available as replacement, so they wouldn't be period incorrect.

Thanks avenan.

They are different than the 1991 levers. It looks like when Ergo shifters came out in 1992 they changed to this design for the standard levers. At that point they only offered Record and Athena non-ergo levers and these matches the Record version. The primary difference being the body shape under the hood. It seems they continued to offer both Record and Athena through 1994 and then only offered the Record version through 2000.
