Hey all. I have a flip flop rear airlite hubs and where the threads start on the fixed side are slightly damaged. Is there a way to fix this, it's right at the very start. Could I grind, sand, file it a bit, or can I just use some force and thread the cog onto it to get past that part? Any suggestions?
A carefully wielded thread file might be worthwhile, force is the other option.

^^^^^ Metric thread file worked perfect. Thanks for the tip.
