Who hit Corrina?

Who knocked her off her bike and then took off like a criminal?

The hunt is on for another cowardly hit-and-run driver.

Yeah thats pretty damn sad. Some low life clips her with their mirror, knocks her off her bike, and dont even stop to see if she's o.k.! Good thing those hard hat guys were around to help her.

Yes sure is sad. I'm glad Corrina is ok though. With some luck maybe the police will catch the person who did this.

Hit-and-runs are almost at epidemic proportions in this town. One statistic shows this year there have been more than 3,300 "personal injury" incidents where the driver "failed to remain."

That is unbelievable!

Corrina and some friends might bake some cookies and take them to the construction workers. That boxy white car might use that street for a regular route. Lots of eyes would be looking for it.

If I drove a boxy looking white car in that area I think I'd change my route. To the rest of us, it would be funny to see them get a back-hoe dropped on their hood.

Glad to hear Corrina is okay. Kudos to the hardhats. Good job guys.:)

Glad to see Corrina is ok. I do like what she had to say.

She has just one thing to say to that driver: "I am okay."

Thanks for stopping to see for yourself.

"Why didn't you stick around?" she asks.

Whoever did this didn't just take off like a criminal. He is a criminal, for leaving the scene of an accident.

It's epidemic all over. Here in Massachusetts, state and local police departments are overwhelmed with hit and run cases. Many get caught, but many do not.

here in NYC is a huge problem as well. a guy a couple of weeks ago was trying to cross a road and was struck by one car (who fled the scene) and then stuck by another car when he was down (who also fled the scene).

It's a huge problem everywhere. No one has a sense of accountability anymore. Or did they ever?

Philthy McNasty's -- what kind of joint is that?

It doesn't matter what kinda of work she did. What matters is she was hit by some a-hole run away driver. It does say she's a waitress.

Traffic is easier to negotiate if you have a helmet or glasses mounted mirror. The story said she signalled with her arm, but didnt mention whether she looked over her shoulder.
Left turns are easier when done from the traffic lane rather than from a curbside bike lane.

I think people did, along with a sense of decency. When was this? I'm not sure, probably back in victorian times.

Actually, it was like before 1960.,,,,,BD
