Day 26 Invercagill to Oban, Stewart Island 30km, 1 hr. ferry

My ferry departed at 17:00, so i had some time left in Invercagill.
I decided to visit the museum and the park, the museum was small but very nice, especially the maori exehibition.
The park was very big and they had fully automatic toilets, i had to try that one.......:D
Up to the Pack n` Save (big supermarket) to get some really nice groceries, like fresh lettuce, new patatoes,m fresh beef and beer.
I left the supermaket to late, so i had to pedal very hard to be on time in Bluff, and of course there was firm seawind blowing against ME
Made it on time, checked in and the ferry left round 1700 with a very calm sea, no seaillness, yeah!
An hour later i arrived in Oban (main and only village on Stewart Island), set up my tent really fast and enjoyed my kingsmeal....

cheers
