Day 27 Stewart Island, 0km

Actually i had no idea wat to do today, so i went to the village and walked around a bit, i met a Dutch couple and they finished a three days walk.
After a little chat, decided to do a 6 days track, the southern cirquit.
Up to the Departement of Conservation (DoC) to get some maps and to leave an intention form.
They lady at the Doc said it was a pretty hard track, but with the good weather it should be allright, but my main problem was, i had no backpack....
After my visit to the DoC, i got some groceries and food for 6 days, but i couldn`t hire a pack in this town.
I booked a watercab at 1400 pm, so hurry again (i`m always late....:D )
Instead of a backpack, i loaded my B.O.B drybag and decided i should carry this, although i knew it was hard.
The watercab brought me to Freshwater Hut, my start of the Southern Cirquit, a very nice hut where i did nothing till diner, and nothing after.....
Tommorow my first big walk, two 5 hours walks in one day, pfff

cheers
