Hello,

I picked up this German folding bike recently but it's too small. I was wondering its value for resale or trade?
Steel 20" wheels, single speed w/coaster brake. Generator, front light, and rear rack. The frame is steel and the fenders and some other parts are aluminum. Chain guard seems stainless and chain is in good shape. Cottered cranks.

Thanks all.

robtown, please see my post about a Royce Union folding bike made in W. Germany. It looks similar.

As for price, I saw a similar spec Italian folder on Craig's List for $75 in the Boston area. It wasn't as nice as yours and lacked the generator light. You could probably shoot for $85 in an urban location.

Campingworld sells new Dahon single-speed Boardwalks for around $150, so that should provide an upper limit on your bike's value.
