I prefer crunchy, but can't eat it anymore due to alimentary changes. I guess I have to settle for all natural creamy peanut butter!

I used to manage a health food store, we had a peanut buter machine. Nothing was added, you just put a pound of peanuts in the top of the machine, the machine would ground them up and crunchy natural peanut butter would come out the bottom. It was good.

Any true Peanut butter connoisseur will tell you creamy is the way to go. But all-natural is best....if you can find an all-natural that is creamy, sign me up baby!

We don't keep peanut butter in the house for fear it'll kill my wife, but as a result I've discovered almond butter, which I find 10x yummier than PB. Makes sense, since I like almonds better than peanuts.

I can't remember so many kids having allergic reactions to peanuts back when I was young (70s).
Is this a recent phenomenon?
EDIT: Ohh, and Creamy of course. I prefer to buy the all natural, then mix in some honey and just a bit of sea salt.

Extra Crunchy all the way. This is pretty much the only kind I'll buy, and I love it! Goes best on cinnamon raisin toast.

Creamy, yum. Also Goober. I dont like P & J if the peanut butter and the jelly are in separate jars, then mixed together, but Goober (P & J in stripes in the same jar) is one of my favorite foods.
Peanut butter is the perfect food for traveling. Doesnt go bad, get dried up or rotten, like bread, meat or cheese, when you take it on a plane, bike or car trip. A couple spoonfulls of protien, and I can keep going for hours.
Peanut butter, honey & beer... Perfect together! :D

Anyone ever tried a peanut butter pizza? There is a pizza shop near me that put peanut butter instead of tomato sauce, top with moz and bacon. The sweetness of the PB and the saltiness of the bacon complement each others. I made chocolate peanut butter pizzas too. Don't knock it till you tried it. :D

Almond butter is great. Cashew butter is terrific stuff, too. The one thing I always insist on, though--it appears, like everyone else here--is the all natural stuff. I just can't see the reason for adding all kinds of crap and particularly adding any sort of sugar. If you want to add your own, that's your own business, but give me the unadulterated stuff!

No-one currently knows what causes peanut allergy. But what is known is that young children seem to be the most prone to it (or in other words, if you don't have a peanut allergy early in your life it's very unlikely you'll develop one as you grow older). It is on the rise and many debates as to why...
There is a factory in Lewisville, Texas, near where I work, that roasts peanuts and makes peanut butter. (or so I have been told, could be Explody Pup's Bonfire o' Victums also) I love the days when I can just catch a whiff of that roasted peanuty goodness known as crunchy peanut butter being loving wafted on the air.

Wonder bread???? Who can tolerate that waste of flour?
Creamy, honey peanut butter on a very lightly toasted slice of whole wheat or 12-grain bread. :)
