heya hows it going. its late here (germany) and im exhausted. so apologies for the laziness of my post. also sheldons website wont load or is down or something and im missing his sagely wisdom.

i need 32 spokes for my front wheel. and i need to pick em up right quick so i can get started lacing this puppy.
im using a dura-ace low-flange track hub (7710) matched to an ambrosio 'balance' 650c.
front wheel, standard 32h 3-cross. what spoke length do i want? i dont have the parts in front of me, and i dont know their exact specs. basically im flagrantly asking for a research assistant. :D thanx a mill! :D

Here's the link that you need:
http://www.damonrinard.com/spocalc.htm

If you're lucky, the parts you're using will have measurements in the database of the spokecalc spreadsheet.

Computers have really simplified what used to be a dreaded chore.

Years ago when I was applying for a job to manage one of the better shops in Santa Barbara.
The owner asked me how long it would take me to build a wheel, and my response was, "Has the spoke length already been calculated?"

He hired me on the spot...
