Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just bought a Novare Randonee, but I wont get it until the end of the week, because it's at another store.I was just wondering if they were having any updates for next years model. If they are I can wait or order the new model, which would take about 2 weeks. Thanks George

Judging from REI's web site, it looks identical to the 2006. It definitely had the same specs in the following categories: Frame material; fork material; components including both derailleurs, the crankset, cassette, brakes and shifters; tires; rims; and price. I had noted all of those features on the 2006 when I was shopping. They are identical to the 2007 model on REI's site.

Shimano has revamped it's Tiagra gruppo for '07--- totally different from the '06. I'd get the '07--I'm betting it's higher quality. At the very least it looks better!
Thanks tacomee,I just changed the order and you are right they did change a lot. I hope it works out as I just started riding about 3 months ago and I can use all the help I can get.

I don't see the Randonee on REI's website for their 2007 bikes. I was worried they'd discontinued it. Is it the same color as the 2006? Also, can anyone direct me to a link? Thanks.
Sorry, they did not change, and you can find the web site under www.REI.com

I couldn't find the Randonee either from their home page, but I did a search and got to here: 2007 Randonee (http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&productId=48075206&parent_category_rn=4500865&vcat=REI_SEARCH)
They only go up to 59cm, so I'm out of luck.
They measured me at the store and said the 59cm would work.I'm 6"2" and have a 351/2 inseam. If it doesn't fit or you don't like it you can bring it back for a full refund.I took a 55cm(i think) out for a ride and I couldn't believe the difference from my Trek FX 7300.I'm really looking forward to getting it.
