The is no end of riding season, it just goes from outdoor parks to indoor. Instead of biggest trick, it's who can hit their head the hardest on the roof of the garage above the quarter pipe.

yup thats what i was talking about. i didn't wanna dig up the old thread on dcstreet though.
cop = to buy/steal/obtain whatever. the dk's got a stock street/street tire combo, but that's not gonna cut it for the riding i'm trying to do. i'd like to get a dirt/street combo so i can hit some trails and djs w/out having to baby the front end all the time, any recommendations? i was looking at the odyssey path and dirt paths, but haven't gone to see them in person yet.

Dirt path front, path rear. Fly rueben tire set, or Animal glh front, asm rear. Dope set ups.

Odyssey Dirt path front, Odyssey Path rear.
Or the new Aitken tires, ill be getting those soon, since my front tire is almost smooth(lately ive been addicted to sliding my front tire coming around from fakies...) and i just got a nice nail through my tire today riding to the skatepark.

Yeah, this is the first that i have gotten in these fairly new Odyssey tires...
I had one of those tubes with slime or whatever its called on the rear when i got the screw in, and i was suprised how well it worked. Basically i noticed the screw and pulled it out, and the green gunk stuff filled and bubled at the hole and my tire went down to like 35 psi and i rode it to the gas station, filled it up to about 85-90 psi and its been holding strong ever since.
The box says that it takes like one mile or something of riding for the slime to seal the whole, and so i rode around the park a bit before heading to the gas station.
Im sure the tubes are heavier and they are for sure more expensive (i paid $8.99) but if it lasts for another month or two, i think it will be worth it to get them again.

Didnt work for me either, i've got thornproof Cheng Chin tubes in at the moment and they seem to be working well, only 1 puncture in about 2 months

I havent poped the stock tubes on my flow yet. But I am fairly smooth and I don't usually case, and I try to avoid sharp things.

There is no such thing as "Thorn proof", and still have air in them. The best you can hope for is thorn-resistant.

10-29-06, 02:58 PM
well they're called thorn proof but basically they're just heavy duty tubes
