So, I've had this bike for a few years and I know it's a super nice bike, but I want to know what model schwinn it is. It's heavily upgraded (crank, chain, sproket, neck, etc.) Any help is appreciated.

By todays standards it's nothing, a beater bike if you will.
try www.bmxmuseum.com or www.vintagebmx.com.
nah, not a lake jump but seriously, anyone know?
I've already eliminated all the ____matics.
i would hardly consider any part on that "heavily upgraded"
It kinda looks like a tree sprocket...
wow I usually post in the MTB forum and everyone is pretty helpful. Seems this forum is full of 17 year old **** talkers. You guys are lame. If you don't want to help or make any useful contributions to the thread, then don't post.
Haha, just didnt like being told that he doesnt know what he is talking about.

hardly the case. I just don't like when I ask for help and all I get is a bunch of off-topic banter.
Mine was on-topic.
Mudes was on-topic.
and so was Gunz's post.
really? I wasn't aware talking about the quality of the bike was the same as trying to help me identify it.
I told you to check those sites. The bike is nothing, thus you probably wont find it. It looks like an older Hydromatic, infact I'm going to bet that it is.
Check the drops, the slant on the end of the toptube, the 990's on the fork, the way the rear stays start below/behind the toptube.

if it is that bike, then it is severly upgraded. The crankset alone is probably worth more than the bike. Alas, I'm lipping off to no one, just asking a legitimate question in which I was only given one useful reply, by yourself. I checked both of your links, and all evidence says none of the ___ matics were made in chrome with that sticker set.
Hence why I said older, older bikes tended to be chromed. The bike I posted would be a 1999 and up, which is why it has alot better parts.
The one you posted would be early ninties if it had a threaded headset, or mid ninties if it had a threadless 1 inch.
unfortunately, I do not know what the original headset was. The bike was purchased new in 1996, which is what confuses me the most.

You tell him!
That was very immature...

word.
with that sticker set.
because stickers stopped being produced and/or you can only put the stickers on the corresponding bike
You tell him!
You are most definitely the most mature member of these forums. [sarcasm tag]
I remembered this time. :)
Closed for editing (and possibly ass-whupping). Back in 5 minutes.
And open again. Chill out, all of you.

Actually, I think they're closer to 14-15.
My previous post had nothing against the Jewish people, I was just stating that that was indeed a horrible event that did happen. I am not racist/prejudice. Jews can be cool.
This thread will end up in P&R or Trash if you drag things like that into it.
But I did not mean it like that.
