I was wondering if there were any other cross maniacs out here around the Kansas city/Lawrence area.

Around here the cross season's just begun, with the Chris Cross out in lawrence a couple of weeks ago and now the Boulevard Brewery Cross Cup this Sunday. Are any of you BikeForum-ers planning on trying out some of our great local racing this season? Lemme know!

I'm over in Rolla. I've been heading to the Saint Louis Bubba Cross series the past two weeks. I know my LBS owner is going to be at the boulevard race this weekend, he rides a SS mountain bike. I'll probably just stick with Saint Louis again. It's a heck of a lot closer for me, and I need to help my brother in the Red Bull Soap Box Derby on Saturday, too.

I ride my cross bike a lot, does that count? :p
I gave it some thought, but I have too much going on and I still haven't found the bug that makes we want to race cross, or any other race for that matter. Pay to ride my bike :eek:
I have friends that are doing it this year though that live in the area. (KC/JoCo)
