Hello all and every.
My name is barrett russell. I am in love with biking in most all of its glory. commuting, off-road rec, and parking lot flatland addict. I really believe in biking as a medium with such integrity, and potentiallity inside this world situation. and i want to promote that in my life.
I am a fine arts major with a philosophy background. I am interested in the world i percieve, and am constantly searching for that ontological truth i feel lost within me. I am currently being saturated with quantum theory and its relationship to wholism/unity and our ability to feel everything (as in everything existing). I believe in a loose causality (never thought id be saying this, cause i was a hard determinist for a long time)in that everything has tendencies, however the ability to function within and alongside them allows for free will. I believe in making my world, not having it make me. i dont beleive in a pre-determined amount of pain and happyness that must be witnessed. I have seen to many people live out completely pained existences, and this tells me I can do just the opposite if i so desire, and i do. I share my ideas of reality and ontological want in my art and am not interested by any one medium more than any other. My friends and family i love, and my pets.
anyways, thats me in a nutshell (perhaps where i belong). thanks for having such a community for me to be part of.
