I'm thinking of taking a solo cycling trip from Lima Peru, down through Chile, up through Argentian and Uragauy, and ending in the capital of Brazil. Does anyone have links to road maps, or sources of places i would stay for a few days and work while on my trip. This trip will be part of a grand from Western Washington University...
Cheers

They have these places called YPF and Copec where you can buy all the maps you need to get around Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. You can also buy great sandwiches and in Argentina, but not Chile, beer which you can drink on the spot while enjoying some empanadas or a puro habano.

I'd recommend to ride from Lima to Santiago via the Andes of Bolivia and Argentina, unless you enjoy being in the desert for about 2000 miles...
