Anyone use the system? I just ordered some of the sealant... I'm hoping it will cure my slow leak problems. I pinch flatted a tubeless tire not too long ago because I had a small leak, which eventually lead to low enough pressure to cause the bead to get cut. I think it would make the tires way more reliable without adding much resistance. Any experiences with it?

Same here. Most reviews seem to be completey in support of the system. Some mags seem to be a bit too supportive of everthing Stan's makes though...

Strange you bring this up now. I've been thinking about trying some too. I'm wanting to try running some regular tires on my tubeless rims without tubes. I've read where Stan's works great for this.

Yeah, the selection of tubeless tires is lacking, and they're expensive... I might try the rim strips if I like it.

I'm gonna try it without the rim strips. I've mounted a few non-tubeless tires on my rims and some sealed better than the tubeless. Really had to push them in to break the bead loose. I'll see how it goes and let you know.

Yeah, that'd be great. I really thought you could ONLY use tubeless tires and not regular ones unless you had a rim strip.

They work great. You need to follow Stan's instructions to the letter for the system to work correctly. He has refined it through much trial and error. It works with regular or tubless

Without the rim strip, running tube tires on tubeless wheels is going to be sketchy. UST wheels seal the bead on the inside walls of the rim...stans system seals the bead with the bottom edge of the tire and the inside wall of the rim (to the sides of the spoke holes.) You may have a problem rolling tires...

As far as the sealent working for leaks, it'll have no problem. When I initially inflate my Python Air Lites, the sealent will bubble out all over the tire (looks like a rabid dog) and everything is sealed within a few seconds. Once the sealent has found all the leaks, they're air tight.

Pretty cool system :)
