SWEET! So jealous. I had to work today plus it was cold and rainey. Was looking to ride this week, but don't know if the weather will be good enough.

Nice pics. Can't wait untill it gets warm enough here so I can go riding some of the trails. By the way, I don't know if it's just me, but the Klein looks very very small small on you.

Hehe ... yea, that bike is probably too small on me, I am 6' 6" after all. The road rides I have been doing during the week are paying off though, yesterday I went to skyline, which has this 3 mile climb you have to do to get to all the good trails, and I only had to stop like once when normally I stop all the time ... I gotta go run rim rock up at skyline sometime, but that will have to be a whole day trip cause I hear rim rock is pretty steep. I was however able to ride chapral which is a trail that runs along the side of a hill which is pretty much slanted like this \ basically cause its still a little muddy there I had some traction compared to the loose granite that trail usually is.

And the rock garden actually isnt all that hard ... you just gotta make a line that you go on and shoot for it, but these old people are always so afraid of falling :p

haha ... the outback is actually neals. My 91 Civic does aight, but I think I want a WRX next, those are so badass, they are fast and have limited off road capabilities.

Oh, MELT, you would not be disappointed with a Subie. I have a Legacy SUS and love it. My next car will be another Subaru, I'm just waiting for the Legacy Turbo to come to the states.

Legacy turbo is probably a great car ... I bag on neal all the time for getting the outback cause I dont think his car has ever left the pavement, so he coulda got the GT with dual sunroofs

The turbo Legacy seems to only be a model year or so off, and most of the Subie crowd is hoping for a version tuned by STi, like the forthcoming Impreza WRX STi that will make you cry for joy. The WRX looks better, I think, for 2004. The Impreza STi would be a great buy if you're willing to spend the cash on it. I love my old sk00l RS, and hope to be in either an Impreza or Legacy STi in the next couple of years.

Sorry for continuing the hijack. Couldn't resist, though.

Edit: Subarus are more impressive off road than you might think, even my lower setting Impreza. Had fun plowing through some muddy/steep roads in northern New Mexico last weekend.

No problem .. your hijack did bump this thread  anyways, I know the lowered subarus do pretty good, which reinforices my stance on why did he buy the outback?
