Is there any reason to be concerned about the performance of carbon fiber components at temperatures approaching or even below freezing, for winter riding in good road conditions?

Aircraft with composite components have no problems with the very low temps at high altitudes. The resins lose their strength at temps above 150 degrees - that is why wings made of fibre composites are usually coloured white, you wouldnt want them to fold as you take off after leaving your plane parked in the sun.
