I have a new frame that I've been told uses an FSA Orbit CF Headset. I have two questions.

1. I see that the actual head set has one of two carbon fiber top covers to choose from, 10 or 15mm height. Why would I choose one rather than the other?

2. The headset is Campy compatible. Would that be Campy Hiddenset? Are there other manufacturers who make Campy compatible headsets?

Thanks!

It's relative to what they call Stack height. Size cups change the height when you swap over from another brand.

You can use any sapcer you want.

If this was a threadless. You want 1/16 - 1/8 spacing of your stem past the steer tube so the cap can do it's binding thing.

If it's threaded. you just need to make sure you have plenty of threads to lock the nut down.

Carbon fiber just happens to be a lighter material. But that's so close to an alloy version. You wouldn't know the diff.
