FYI for those of you riding the DH.
DOWNHILL
The new course will be about 1 1/2 minute longer than last year. We’ll drop off the ridge from the old course, down a short paved section past the shooting range, then hang a superfast right onto the dirt.
The course will parallel B Road. In its virginal state yesterday, it was rough, off camber in places and somewhere between singletrack and fire road in width. There are a couple technical moves and a couple short climbs. There is LOTS of pedaling.
While the old DH course favored BMX style, this new section will favor power. Bring a bike you can pedal.
