Pretty cool, huh?
Dude, that's awesome! Looks like a beautiful area. I have a couple decent views like that where I live, riding through all the onion fields and sod farms (these are the coolest things ever, thousands of acres of sod), with the hills in the distance, but nothing as spectacular as that. I'll try to get some pictures up but it might take a while. Peace.

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to be able to live here. I really do look forward to my daily rides. It's a hellaciously expensive place to hang your hat. But between the weather, the good jobs, and the culture, you can't beat it. And all the potential ride routes are great, too.
Here's another pic:

(BTW, this pic above shows the typical crowdedness during weekdays. On weekends, I might pass two dozen people while riding the three/four miles through Shoreline Park, the north end pictured here.)

That path goes almost all the way to my house. The windy season around there start up pretty soon. It does get crowded. And stinky when the heat kicks in due to all the decomposing detrius when the tide goes out. ;)

I've never really noticed a 'windy season' all the years I've ridden through there. It tends to pick up in the afternoon sometimes. But most of the time it's at my back.
I'm told the marsh smells a little by people who haven't been there before. But I don't notice it anymore.
On nice weekends, it can get crowded. But I just do my rides before noon and it's been fine. I'm still able to average around 20mph through it. Just got to be very vocal when you're coming up on people with their backs towards you.

No, I'm not.... I'm not a big fan of riding with others. Nothing personal, cycling is just my alone time.
But it looks pretty challenging. The weather should be helpful: probably going to be cool, not too hot. That 100+ ride in July, that would be not fun.
