Greetings from the Northwest Chicago suburbs where things are finally starting to thaw and the road bikes are out of the basements, all polished and degreased. Unfortunately, they only stay clean until riding through the first puddle when a winter's load of salt and road grime stick to every part (bike and human) like metal shavings to a magnet. I am a 40 year old who remembers with great fondness the old more "in-shape" periods of my life. I have enjoyed riding a bike as long as I can remember and I'll never forget that magical feeling of riding a two-wheeler for the first time. I recently had the extreme pleasure of teaching my kids to ride without their training wheels. That magical feeling returned. I look forward to sharing insights and experiences with you all. Gino
