Could someone tell me what the reference to RonV is about? It certainly does not sound like a response to my last post in "Recumbents" about where to mount accessories. Perhaps that is a controversial subject, but I didn't think so.

You guys got me on that about 3 months ago. I just had to play along this time.

I have to give you guys credit, that is one of the best April Fools jokes I have ever seen. It ranks up there with the time I called my sister and told her I was in jail.

No problem here - I just didn't know this could technically be done. For the life of me I couldn't think of why I was singled out for beratement - still, it makes me wary of what is capable on the internet. A really devious mind could cause a lot of havoc doing something like this, with serious legal ramifications!

Im rolling on the floor! Today I gave out employee reviews. I used Scott Pankins complaint letter web sight http://hugin.sigusr1.org/~pakin/complaint to make up the reviews. It was so hard to keep a stright face when I handed them out. Only one of the mecs did not catch on.

Besides that there is no I can be compaired to Sadam, I have a much nicer bike!

It is hard to describe my reaction to seeing TBeri in the name of this post without violating the agreement I have so recently signed. Shocked is as close as I can come politely.

Geeeezz! First I wake up to another ____ing snowstorm, then I get whiplash and bruised ribs from my brother's over-enthusiastic driving up a mountain with mega mud season potholes (must be a testosterone thing)...then I find out that I'm one miserable excuse of a human being causing much pain and grief all throughout this forum (and probably throughout the world, for all I know) but am I so oblivious? When did I have the sex change?

I got caught a couple of times at work today, too. Just naieve, I guess. :p

ohhhhhh, I get it now! I first saw this post BEFORE my first cup of coffee in the morning and was totaly confused and lost. NOW I get it...very clever! ho ho ha ha.

This one even worked on my wife. I had her read it and kept talking about how I was being wronged and it wasn't fair. I had her going something fierce. Man it was so funny to see her get all fired up. At one point she told the little devil avatar might have been part of the reason. So I told her I was working on an in-depth rebuttal. Then she finally came to the April 1st post. She only tried to hit me once. :D

It's no exageration when I say my heart was pounding in my chest...had someone stolen my identity? Had I actually said something that offensive? It kind of reminded me of an incident from years ago...and this may not make sense to anyone else, but here goes. For days and weeks on end my (then) wife had packed me PBJ sandwiches for lunch. It got to the point I knew what to expect even before I'd open the little baggy. Sure, it might be grape jelly or strawberry preserve, but it was going to be PBJ. One day it wasn't...it was tuna fish. For a few brief second I genuinely wondered if EVERYTHING I'd learned to that point was somehow wrong... Tonight was kinda like that. As I read through the post I just could not make sense of it. What could I have possibly said to invoke such strong feelings? People who know me could easily figure my identity from my handle...was I going to have to go into hiding? Wow...what a rush, really. THAT is an exceptional April Fools stunt. Gentlemen, you are to be commended.

Oh guys, I did not mean for my silence to imply I was going away mad! My post said it all. I am a newbie and was initially floored at what was attributed to my username! But, slooooowly I came to realize it HAD to be a joke. At that point I was summoned to go eat with the family. Being the dutifuly wife and mother, I did so. But came back as soon as possible to read about all the awful things I was supposed to have said. Great April Fools - best one I've ever been party to.
