Hi crew....
I asked this some time ago again....but since then i have done some research and ended up with some questions.
Currently i got X139 Mavic rims. I dont know and cant find out any specs for this rim...weight durability or any other....i have tried mavic.com and other stuff....anyone knowing please tell me of the weight of this rims.
I have decided to pick either Mavic X317Disc , F219Disc or SunRingle Singletrack disc. I am 200lbs doing aggresive xc (no jumps) and fireroad downhills on a hardtail. I need the best strength to weight combination with a disc only rim ( i could really use some pimp decals :D). Thanks crew...

The 317 is a very durable rim. I laced some wheels up with them a year ago for my wife and they have had no problems. Even when I ride her bike (I am 260lbs). if you are not doing big drops or jumps they should work for you.
I personaly use the SingleTracks and they have handled every thing from light trail riding to full out dh racing. They are a very good rim.
Another rim I would suggets if you would like to go tubless are the Mavic D3.1 not the X3.1. The D is Mavics UST Dh rim and I have heard good reviews on them and you can lace them to your current hubs. My next set of wheels I will be using them.

Personal preference...until last week wekk I hated sun...I destroyed a couple of rims in a row that were Sun and questioned the quality of the WHOLE line. I hae decided to give themanother chance...but really..MAvic vs Sun is like asking Giant vs specialized...both are good but if you ask everyone their opinion everyone has a diff answer

Exactly! Personally, I've not had much luck with Sun's and have had nothing but good results with Mavic's. I'll stick with my Mavic's.
I would suggest the F219's. They're a freeride rim kinda in between the X317 and the D321's. I had a pair of D521 that I liked a lot. I had them laced to some disc hubs, and never used rim brakes with them, and they held up fine. I'll probably lace up a pair of F219's with my next wheels!

I've got to put in for Suns-I've got 3 sets with no problems, our shop managers got about half a dozen sets with no problems, and we've got a couple customers that are hell on parts that haven't had any problems with 'em.
I run Sun's and I'm happy
