i have two rides.... a specialized roubaix comp and a specialized tricross comp. obviously the tricross is the obvious winter choice. But if i really wanted to ride the roubaix in winter... is there anything wrong with that? or will the tricross be safer when it comes to road surfaces? any thoughts would be appreciated...
The less agressive geometry coupled with the widest tires possible will give you the most stability in winter. You can pick from there. Personally i prefer mountain bikes in the winter, and my road bike hangs in the garage.
