Ok, I went over to the dark side! Broke cdown and bought A new ( My first) road bike.
I shopped around a few stores, then took Brandy's advice adn went ot SCC. They did a GREAT job!
For just a couple hundred buck more that the my usual LBS, I ended upgrading to a much higher level!!
Went for a 45 minute ride before I night fell... .
I can hardly wait to get out again!!
Well, Here are pictures!

It's 52 ( or S). The 54 was too much of a reach for me.

On the other hand, if Dan bought the Expert instead of the Pro, he could have used the other half of the money to buy an Expert for Brandy too.

HHmmmm...
Hadn't thought of that..::rolleyes:
But it was only a few hundred more that "the other" LBS wanted for the Expert..
They hooked me up, along with other incidentals......

I looked at the Tarmac, but wanted a little more relaxed position...

I look at Her and she just begs to get out of the house.

Very nice bike. Once you see how fast you accelerate and how smooth it is, you will be hooked. You started with a very nice bike.

Awesome. :D I had a Roubaix Comp myself, and I've taken 1955's Roubaix Pro for a quick ride before. It's a great bike, and there really is quite a difference going between the different Roubaix model lines.
