Hi everybody-
I'm trying to assemble a commuter bike on the cheap and need some help with the rear wheel. The frame is a newer cross bike frame with 135mm of spacing (i think) but my older wheel is not as wide. Dunno exactly how wide... has a 6 speed cassette on it. Any possible way to safely lengthen the axle to make it fit? If i do have to buy a new wider wheel, is there any way to use my old six speed stuff with the newer hubs? Thanks!
