One of my personal goals is to no longer qualify as a Clydesdale (no offense intended - you are all a great bunch!).

So, here is my weight loss over the past 10 weeks. I figure in another 10 weeks, it will be bye bye Clydesdales. I was 240lbs about 2 years ago. At almost age 67 (one week to go), it is about time I left the Clydes! :D

Week 0 (08/21/2006) - 221.5 lbs
Week 1 (08/28/2006) - 217.0 lbs (-4.5 lbs from week 0)
Week 2 (09/04/2006) - 215.0 lbs (-6.5 lbs from week 0)
Week 3 (09/11/2006) - 215.5 lbs (-6.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 4 (09/18/2006) - 213.5 lbs (-8.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 5 (09/25/2006) - traveling, unable to weigh
Week 6 (10/02/2006) - traveling, unable to weigh
Week 7 (10/09/2006) - 212.5 lbs (-9.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 8 (10/16/2006) - 211.5 lbs (-10.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 9 (10/23/2006) - 210.5 lbs (-11.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 10 (10/30/2006) - 210.0 lbs (-11.5 lbs from week 0)

And here is my most recent picture, just this week.

I LOVE how I feel with the weight loss.

Congrats! and keep up the good work.

I too and a non clyde in clyde's clothing.

I balooned to 247 from 183 over the past couple of years. Not exercising and eating cheeseburgers, wings and consuming gallons of homebrew.

I am in week three of my recommitment to proper eating and exercise and weighed in this morning at 234.5 down -12.5 pounds!

Thanks.

We currently have a weight loss posting thread running in the 50+ forum (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=221403), so I think I will continue to use that (especially since I started it!):D .

Good job from a fellow clydesdale who is hanging on by a thread... After hiking more than 9 hours over the weekend, I just might be under the bar now.

do we have an honorary clydesdale designation perchance?
